225th Anniversary Activities

Calling for genealogists, history enthusiasts or interested folks…
Wouldn’t it be a great idea to invite descendants of early church members to our 225th anniversary celebration on March 21, 2010? Well, we will have to find them. Many names of early church members are noted in Walter Kring’s book “Fruits of Our Labors”. If you are interested, please speak with Jim Dolan or call ( 508-757-2708) /email (office@firstunitarian.com) the church office for contact information

Sacred Writings October 18, 2009

This opportunity for spiritual reflection is held on Sunday mornings from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Each week we discuss and reflect upon a selection chosen by a member of our church community. Is there a piece of writing that inspires or encourages you, a piece that touches you in a way that is sacred to you? Please let us know and share it with us in an hour of spiritual reflection and exploration. Everyone is welcome to join us when the spirit, or the writing moves you to be with us. This week's selection is Sayings of Jesus and Buddha. You will find the whole selection on our blog: http://90mainstreet.com/sacred/ Rev. Merritt leads the group. Childcare is provided.

Monday Night At The Church October 19, 2009 Scenes from the Waugh Family Farm

Come join us on Monday Night, October 19th, at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel for a visual visit to Ken Waugh's family farm. The new chapel gallery exhibition will feature photos taken of Ken's farm and sugar house. We will be given a guided tour of the beauty, majesty, and the welcoming generosity that are the hallmarks of Ken's family home and farm.

Monday Night at the Church begins at 5:30 p.m. with an hour of Zen (meditation) practice in the Chapel. Come BE with us in the intimate silence - no experience necessary! The centerpiece of MNATC is of course Ken Waugh and friends’ fellowship dinner at 6:30 p.m. Childcare is available every Monday night. All are welcome to any or all of the Monday night events.
